He shouldn’t never said anything about Brazil after filming there. Brazilians are just humble simple people that were happy for having Stallone in there. I remember being a kid and watching all of his movies. Man what have you done??? And why? Tom cruise was in Brazil several times and he was so nice and grateful towards the Brazilian people is just to show you when a person has class. Now, he filmed the movie in there and I don’t think the Brazilian will like him back for a premiere do you?? I’m very sad Mr. Stallone and I don’t even live in Brazil anymore.

Well,iam Braziliam and very proud to be, i dont have the money he has and most of us Brazilians dont even come close his fortune,but there are a lot things we have and he dont,brain,kidness,respect,beauty inside out and after all generosity,that things he dont know about, He must take a look in hinself,he dont need monkey,hes is a totally monkey.

I´m FAN of Patriots and my boy and I play basseball in the park almost weekend…
You need know better the cuture, language and habits of other countries if you want be famous by your ideas and not by or arms…
I never had a monkey in my house, but I had when I was youngest with the song “eye of tiger”…. When we were youngest made some stupids acts…
I knew your language, music, habits of your country. I hope my sons and friends never more watch yours films because is lamentable spend our time in front of our tv´s to see you after this incident.

Stallone has just sent a formal letter trying to apologize for what he said – “We recorded in Brazil becouse you can explode the country up and they say, thanks, have a monkey as a gift” !you know what? We DO NOT accept! WTF… Its too offensive as saying ” We love going to USA cus there you can see damn fat-junk-eaters-kids killing each other in the schools”! Come on guys, stay tuned! Im 25 years old and I was borned in BR! I live here untill now and I haver never seen a damn monkey! Sad but true…

I was once driving and my brother, at the passenger´s seat, played full with a guy wearing a clown suit in the streets and making some advertisement. He just yell at him a loud “Larga de ser palhaço, cara!” (something like “Give Up being a clown, pall”), a common Brazilian saying when you are calling someones attention not playing full when he/she is playing full wihtout notice. And the guy went furious, making obscene gestures and yelling obscenities back!

No, I am not saying Stallone something. I am a Brazilian, and it is very easy to feel offended when someone points you a finger and say “Larga de ser palhaço, cara!” once you are being a clown and do not want to be noticed. Acting furious after that is not accepting what you are.

As if we have a country that has a model of behavior in politics, police enforcement, seriousness… Some Brazilians are great people, but let´s face it: just a few countries are bellow us in terms of social behavior.

Stallone is not wrong, we are the ones trying to ‘hide from the sunlight with a sieve’, or in plain Brazilian Portuguese: ‘Tentar tapar o Sol com uma peneira’.

Yup, I know where I came from. Not ashamed of that, neither proud of.
